This Indenture made this twenty eighth of September 1788 BETWEENRobertLanoir and Winifred his wife of the County of
Brunswick of the one part and James Fisher of the said County of theotherpart . . . that the said Robert Lenoir and Winfred
his wife for and in consideration of the sum of six pounds . . .dothgrant bargain sell alien enfeoff and absolutely confirm unto
the said James Fisher . . . a certain tract or parcel of Land in thesaidCounty containing by Estimation twenty two acres
BEGINNING at James Fisher''s corner white oak on Pofsom [Possom]QuarterBranch, thence on the said Fisher''s line
South fifty four degrees West ten poles to a small hickory cornerbetweenthe said Fisher and himself, thence by his own line
South seventy three degrees East to a corner hickory on Rober[sic]Lenior''s line, thence North to Pofsom [Possom] Quarter
Branch on the said Lenoir''s line, thence up the said branch totheBEGINNING . . . Signed by Robert Lenoir and Winfred
