From Debbie Harrison:
From Ed Stumpf, descendant of Preserved and Mary: "He was a small farmerand into commerce. He was also a Methodist Minister. About 1834 he movedhis family to Grand Township in Marion Co, Ohio. His church was inBowsherville in Wyandot Co, Ohio. The town no longer exists, but was nearMarseilles. When his daughter Levia died on Oct. 17, 1844 Her fatherwrote his Will the next day and was probated Feb. 28, 1845. In his willhe asks Gilbert and Lewis to promise to take care of their sister Mary. The mother was still living in 1845, but I think whatever illness theydied of, she must have been ill as well. She did not appear on the censusever again that I can find. Mary A. was alive in 1850 living with herbrother in Kenton, but I can find no marrige record or death record andshe does not appear on the 1860 Census."
