"My father, Anthony Iannone, was adopted, but we never knw that until hedied and we found some papers on that. No one in the family could help uswith this because almost everyone was already gone then, and years ago,babies were born at home and sometimes they never even reported theirbirth. We have been trying to find out whatevr information we can aboutthis...no problem, just curiosity. Rudolfo and Theresa (Speranza) Iannonewere his adopted parents but we think a neighbor of their''s, who had achild out of wedlock, really gave birth to Dad and they all kept thatquiet. Grandma couldn''t have any children so she was excited to have thisbaby.
Any way, what we do know is that his name might have been Herman Hirsch,and they came from Astoria,
