Amanda went with her husband, Capt. Ephriam Palmer to Fort Hall, Idahowith her young son, Phillip. She was divorced from Ephriam there, andmarried John Vance Wilson before 1870. Phillip lived with his mother andnew family. He was a
schoolteacher. When he died of TB in Pasadena, CA, John Wilson was theexecutor of his estate. Family talk said that Amanda divorced JohnWilson. When she died in 1910 her Obituary did not name him as herhusband, and he was alive, not passing away until 1919.
