I visited with Louise, Elmer''s wife once. She said Charley didn''t feel hecould raise a baby by himself, so her parents took him in. She didn''tindicate that the couple had separated or anything.
After visiting with her, I wrote this in my notes......
"Louise Fisher, wife of Elmer Fisher, gave me some information about herhusband on the back of a picture. Part of the information was that hismother died when Elmer was about 18 months old. He was raised by herparents in OK "as both his parents died." This would be about 1923.
